Larceny in pick 240 lands the Patriots a A-, Riley and all.

The Patriots spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Quincy Riley, the No. 182 name on the board, in the 240th pick. Very little went wrong, and the A- is earned.

The cost of the Hawes reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The phones were where this weekend was really won.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

In the end it comes back to Tetairoa McMillan, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
