The Steelers land in the muddy middle: C+.

There is reaching, and then there is Trevin Wallace at the Round 3 slot. The Steelers jumped the board by 135 and dared it to prove them wrong. The final tally is a middling C+.

However the rest shakes out, Keegan at that price is a win they earned. The Paul pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at quarterback, edge rusher and other spots.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

If Graham Barton and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
