Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Chiefs spent pick 206 on Tanner McLachlan, a name the board had a full 55 spots lower. Some smart calls, some head-scratchers, and a C+ in the wash.

The Walker value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

So much rides on Taliese Fuaga that the real verdict is a season or two away.
