The Bears cashed the board's mistake on Brooks: B+.

The Bears spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Tahj Brooks, the No. 112 name on the board, in Round 6, Pick 25. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B+.

If Shand pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

Christian Harris gives the group a proven body among the projects.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
