You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Bears did exactly that with J.J. Weaver in slot 248. It does the job without flash, and the B+ reflects it.

Kiser falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
