The Bears won the weekend at the trade table. Grade: B+. The rest of the league will want that one back. Le'Veon Moss tumbling to the Bears in No. 236 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. The bottom line is a respectable B+.
The Jones Jr. pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
The veteran additions, Jared Verse chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
