Old Dominion Monarchs NFL Draft Prospects

Old Dominion matched the best season in program history in 2025, going 10-3 (6-2 Sun Belt) for its first 10-win campaign since 2016. The run featured a 45-26 takedown of Virginia Tech and a 24-10 Cure Bowl win over South Florida, and it closed with a six-game surge in which the defense surrendered just 57 points. The offseason, though, gutted the offense. Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Year quarterback Colton Joseph left for Wisconsin, and the entire starting offensive line and much of the skill talent scattered through the portal.

Head coach Ricky Rahne, 30-33 in five years at Norfolk, hands the offense to first-year coordinator Kody Cook, promoted from receivers coach for a measure of continuity. The Monarchs return only one offensive starter, so much of the fall will be spent rebuilding from scratch. The defense, by contrast, brings back experience at every level and looks like one of the league's best.
