• Physical, sheds defenders and works off blocks. Good toughness with recognition skills to fight through traffic and blow up screens.
• Keeps the ball and man in front of him in zone and might be a candidate to convert to safety.
• Best fit is in a zone scheme considering he lacks the vertical speed to shadow elite receivers.
• A coordinated athlete with good footwork and balance. A heady cover player with above-average · feel and anticipation in space.
• Willing and successful blitzing off the edge. Consideration for a move to safety with a combination of range and sure tackling.

Weaknesses

• Needs to improve his footwork and balance in coverage. Transitions out of his backpedal too early and doesn't look natural moving in reverse.
• Has suspect instincts in coverage and needs to show better pre snap recognition.
• Needs to tighten his angles in pursuit. Needs to show better tackling technique to consistently finish.
• Zone-specific prospect who is likely only a fit in nickel or dime packages with predominantly man-to-man teams.
• Opens his hips too early and allows himself to get turned around in coverage.
