The Bears worked the phones like thieves and earned a A-.

They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Dylan McMahon, 66 picks early at slot 225.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. They punted on running back, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. That Taylor III pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

Bottom line, with Marvin Harrison Jr. leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
