The real work happened on the phones. The Chargers fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with. A near-flawless weekend of work, and a A to cap it.

The Legette steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

The Wilson pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with edge rusher and quarterback still on the board. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Byron Murphy II and all.
