A franchise passer in Williams headlines a D- weekend for the Bengals.

Boards are made to be trusted, and the Bengals shredded theirs for Jaheim Bell. He came off 70 spots early, and the room will hear about it. Too much went sideways, and the D- is the honest tally.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. So much rides on Caleb Williams that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him.

Landing Whittington that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, cornerback very much included.
