The Falcons ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B+.

That offensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Dike at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

Adding Nik Bonitto by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
