The Patriots spent the pick that matters most on Jayden Daniels, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape. This is how you run a draft, and the A- reflects it.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. The Smith-Wade pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at safety, running back and other spots.

The safety hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The Kamara reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.
