The rest of the league will want that one back. Chau Smith-Wade tumbling to the Chiefs in the 246th overall pick is a gift they did not have to think twice about. No fireworks, but a solid B.

The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
