Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Patriots were there to profit. Tyler Warren, the No. 15 name on the board, should have been long gone before Round 2, Pick 6. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

Every board in the league had Kendall lower, and that gap is the story. With wide receiver, quarterback and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on cornerback is the choice that costs them.
