There is a lot to like until you notice running back is still a hole. The Titans never got to the one that mattered most.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
