There is a lot to like until you notice offensive lineman is still a hole. The 49ers never got to the one that mattered most. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

Good work on the whole, with offensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
