Draft Grade — Giants
Overall

FutureB
The Giants turned the phones into found money: B+. The Giants looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Logan Parr at the Round 7 slot regardless, 52 picks early.
The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. That is a linebacker worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.
They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The veteran additions, Ja'Quan McMillian chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.
Good work on the whole, with tight end the one box left unchecked.
Pick Analysis
Pick3
Rnd1
Mason Graham
A market-rate interior defensive lineman, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Mason Graham. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick65
Rnd3
Ozzy Trapilo
Ozzy Trapilo at pick No. 65 is an overdraft of the loud, memorable kind. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick94
Rnd3
Carson Schwesinger
Steal is underselling it; Carson Schwesinger at pick 94 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Pick99
Rnd3
Kyle McCord
This one needs a full-page explanation: Kyle McCord in No. 99, miles early. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick104
Rnd4
Malachi Moore
A real head-scratcher, Malachi Moore in slot 104 is miles ahead of his ranking. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick153
Rnd5
Jonah Monheim
They left a pile of value on the table to take Jonah Monheim this early at the 153rd overall pick. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick154
Rnd5
Kalel Mullings
A straight-up fair deal on Kalel Mullings at slot 154, value and slot in agreement. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick193
Rnd6
Tyler Batty
Tyler Batty at No. 193 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick216
Rnd6
Isaac TeSlaa
Isaac TeSlaa in pick 216 is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick219
Rnd7
Logan Parr
Logan Parr in pick No. 219 is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick246
Rnd7
Mac McWilliams
A clean, defensible pick in the Round 7 slot with a little surplus value in Mac McWilliams. The roster fit checks out.
