The Patriots cashed the board's mistake on Bowman Jr.: B+. You could see the war room lean forward. Billy Bowman Jr. at Round 4, Pick 34 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. Every board in the league had Lindenberg lower, and that gap is the story. The Christian Kirk deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.
They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
