Grand theft in the 55th pick: the 49ers steal Franklin and grade out a D-.

The 49ers lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again. Hard to defend, and the D- reflects that.

The 49ers indulged a want in Brade while a need in quarterback and linebacker stayed open. The Orhorhoro pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback.

The Franklin value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

A rough weekend that leaves the roster with more questions than answers.
