A respectable, level-headed haul for the Chiefs: B-.

Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Chiefs spent No. 31 on Kingsley Suamataia, a name most had 26 spots down the list. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Hadden pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
