Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Smael Mondon Jr. got past him. The Jets do not have to explain a thing at slot 157. The bottom line is a respectable B.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. West has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They went 5 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
