After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Lions committed. J.J. McCarthy is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up. They will need McCarthy to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but cornerback.
