The Buccaneers finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a B+.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Buccaneers spent their marquee pick on Michael Penix Jr., and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. Good, not great, and the B+ says as much.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. That is a quarterback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
