The Cowboys bled value on every deal, hence the D. The Zion Logue pick is the one that will follow the Cowboys into the fall. They took him 70 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. A D that will need time and luck to look better.
They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. The Elliss pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with tight end still on the board. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through tight end.
Getting Colson where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.
Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and tight end is still a hole.
