You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Chiefs did exactly that with Joshua Cephus in pick No. 207.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through tight end. James at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
