The Bears looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Luke Lachey at No. 70 regardless, 36 picks early.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman. The Devin White deal gives the class an established piece to lean on. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
