The Kenny Logan Jr. selection is the head-turner. The Chargers reached 42 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want.

Ali falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. The veteran additions, Marcus Davenport chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

In the end it comes back to Brian Thomas Jr., and a haul good enough to build on right away.
