The phones sank the Raiders this weekend: D. The Raiders treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending the 82nd overall pick on Monroe Freeling a full 40 spots early. Hard to defend, and the D reflects that.
The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
The Leavitt value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.
The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
