Quarterback settled, Maye in the fold, and a B for the Commanders.

Start where it matters. The Commanders took Drake Maye to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

That is a linebacker worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. If Williams pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
