The Chiefs kept it disciplined and banked a B-.

There is a lot to like until you notice offensive lineman is still a hole. The Chiefs never got to the one that mattered most. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

On value alone, Carson makes the weekend a net positive. Every board in the league had Yurosek lower, and that gap is the story. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
