A solid, sensible weekend for the Lions: B.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Lions reached some 90 spots for Collin Oliver, and value like that does not grow back.

Getting Bryant where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. It is not that Alexander is a bad player; it is that the Lions had louder needs to answer first. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
