If confidence were a draft strategy, the Rams would have aced it. Korey Foreman at Round 7, Pick 1 is 81 spots clear of where he belonged. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

The Smith steal is the beam this whole class leans on. A whole weekend of picks and tight end is somehow still a want.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
