Call it larceny. Nicholas Singleton sat on the board until the 200th overall pick, and the Chargers did not need to be asked twice.

Every board in the league had McCoy lower, and that gap is the story. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
