The Chargers let Singleton fall into their laps, and walked away with a B.

The Chargers did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Nicholas Singleton fell into the Round 7 slot.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Every board in the league had Morris lower, and that gap is the story. Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
