The Chargers robbed the room for Singleton. Final grade: B-.

Call it larceny. Nicholas Singleton sat on the board until the Round 6 slot, and the Chargers did not need to be asked twice. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

If Skattebo pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.

In pick 25 they get a security blanket over the middle, though the board says they badly overpaid. A real need, handled.

Nothing to complain about; Dont'e Thornton Jr. went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
