Draft Grade — Browns
Overall B-
ValueB- NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
Nothing loud, just a tidy B- for the Browns.

Of all the ways to open, the Browns chose the head-scratcher, spending No. 126 on Javon Solomon with quarterback, wide receiver and other spots still wide open.

Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Booker falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.

Pick Analysis
Pick54 Rnd2 Kiran Amegadjie
They paid a round early for Kiran Amegadjie in slot 54, more than the board wanted. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick91 Rnd3 Austin Booker
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Austin Booker at slot 91. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick126 Rnd4 Javon Solomon
The eyebrow-raiser of the weekend. They went OLB-EDGE with Javon Solomon while clear needs at quarterback, wide receiver and other spots sat open.
