It is the swing that defines the weekend: Monroe Freeling in pick 84, a good 38 spots before the room expected him. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

Landing Chambliss that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. The Steelers indulged a want in Freeling while a need in interior defensive lineman, safety and other spots stayed open.

For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
