Sanders is the plan now, and the Giants grade out a B-.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Giants spent their marquee pick on Shedeur Sanders, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

The Johnson value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. They will regret leaving safety for another day if the season turns on it. They left with interior defensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but safety.

In pick No. 3 they get their guy under center for the next decade at fair value. A clean fit for the roster.
