The Broncos finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a D. The Broncos treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending the 166th pick on Amari Kight a full 93 spots early. A D that will need time and luck to look better.
That is a running back worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. Whatever Quinn Ewers becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer.
The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.
