Larceny in the 51st pick lands the Bears a A-, Arnold and all.

The board owed the Bears one, and it paid up: Terrion Arnold, the No. 19 name on the board, sitting there at Round 2, Pick 19 like a gift left on the doorstep. This is how you run a draft, and the A- reflects it.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Adding Davante Adams by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

The cost of the Powers-Johnson reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

Add it up and this is about as clean as a draft weekend gets.
