Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Jaguars were there to profit. Johnny Dixon, the No. 192 name on the board, should have been long gone before No. 212.

They punted on safety, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. If Thomas Jr. pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 4 of 9 of the wish list covered.

A fair-value weekend of trading, no edge to be found.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
