Nobody else had Ainias Smith anywhere near No. 132. The Bears did, by 33 spots, and that gap is the whole story. Little to argue with here, and the A- says so.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain.

They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

In the end it comes back to Jared Verse, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
