The Lions fleeced the room on the phones and earned a B+.

The real work happened on the phones. The Lions fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

That safety hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They will need Kneeland to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but safety.
