Larceny in No. 227 lands the Raiders a D-, Robertson and all. Every swap seemed to tilt away from the Raiders, and the value they bled adds up to real damage.
The Raiders indulged a want in Styles while a need in running back and tight end stayed open. Leaving running back unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
They are betting Davis proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Robertson falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.
It is a win-now wager, and the future is the stake.
Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and running back is still a hole.
