The Bears finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a B.

The Bears spent the pick that matters most on Jayden Daniels, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. They will need Johnson to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

They punted on linebacker, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Hadden at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

Good work on the whole, with linebacker the one box left unchecked.
