Reed should have been long gone. The Bears pounced, and earned a B.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Jaylen Reed tumbling to the Bears in the 240th pick is a gift they did not have to think twice about.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. They will need Grant to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Job largely done: interior defensive lineman settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
