The Lions robbed the room for Sanders. Final grade: D+. You could see the war room lean forward. T.J. Sanders at pick 249 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.
The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. On the needs board they went 8 of 9, with cornerback the one that mattered most.
