The steal of the weekend belongs to the Lions and King: F.

Somebody in Round 7, Pick 9 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Lions sat still while Kobe King, the No. 135 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.

Bottom line, it will take a lot of luck to make this look better later.
