The Bears finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a C+.

Start where it matters. The Bears took Jayden Daniels to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

They banked enough surplus on Lloyd to cover a lot of smaller sins. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.

So much rides on Jayden Daniels that the real verdict is a season or two away.
